Nowadays the geographic information systems (GIS) are widely used throughout the World and also in the Kazakhstan, in most of areas of science and industry. For problem solving issue in various fields it is necessary to create a common information space, which includes a graphical and attribute components. Attributes of graphical objects can be not only their general characteristics, but also their detailed components .
The programs of ArcInfo company such as ESRI, MGE, MapInfo the current most popular advanced software products (SP) which enables to develop the geographic information maps. The basic full-featured SPs require the high demands on computing, where they are going to be installed. This is a workstation running UNIX like Sun OS 4.1.3, Solaris 2.3, IBM RS/6000. For professional work the most appropriate option should be considered the PP MapInfo for creation a problem-oriented applications to thematic databases. Here with, this important aspect of the interaction and collaboration of PP and use databases. From the point of view of interoperability of GIS with database, for development is the most advantageous option for PC MapInfo Professional – DBMS,on these software products can be developed: GIS application working with databases, and database application that works with GIS. For industrial use in this case you can use a full GIS MapInfo Professional and DBMS .
